turn 21, live in house with lots of guys. idea surfaces. no time to build.

august, 2003
no job for a few weeks before grad school, resolve to bild kegbot. write software first, find and pick up a used fridge and other parts with hollywood roommates.

december, 2003
first keg comes online! no fancy web interface, temperature sensor is buggy, and micrcontroller code unreliable. x10 appliance modules for fridge control. but... it worked! a little.

january 2004 - may 2004
kegbot unplugged, left in neglect. school gets busy. code fixed up a bit, though.

may 22, 2004
keg 1 comes online! nicer front end, over 50% fewer bugs, new sensors and relays all around. gunky flowmeter causes some inaccuracy in reading, soon fixed.
